  • Dark chocolate & almonds are yummy
  • I love Sweet potatoes
  • My car is on empty
  • Fall weather is the best
  • I wish I was at the beach house
  • Lori makes me laugh
  • I am 40!
  • I want a Chai Tea Latte

Hmmm, that's all for now. Time to organize my desk... it's a mess.

Sunday, Sunday!

It's Sunday... one of my favorite days of the week. I went to church, saw my friends (love em!) then had lunch with my parents at home. We got Tahoe Joes to go... yumm. I love lazy Sundays. The weather is starting to get nicer. The Fall is one of my favorites too! I can't wait til the leaves start changing colors.

OK... so I've been slacking off in the organizing department. I am a bit overwhelmed with my house right now. I don't even know where to start... seems like every room needs a make over. Clean House (or Clean Sweep) I need you! =)

At church, there are lots of great things going on. New groups are starting up, which is very exciting. In the Women's Department, we are going to have Sole Sisters (a walking group) and Food Friendzy (a going out to dinner group). I am having fun with the planning and motivating.

At work, things are going great! I love my job... and am very blessed to work with family. We are meeting our goals and more!

Eating Clean is still the way to go!

Old Fashioned Day at church

We had Old Fashioned Day a couple of weeks ago at church. It was really fun. Some of us dressed up in our finest Old Fashioned outfits. Kev and Matt went to Goodwill and had a great time picking out their clothes. Below is a picture of them... they were so funny! Everyone loved it. I wore overalls and pigtails. I looked more like the Beverly Hillbillies than Old Fashioned... but it was comfy!

Thursday... my day off!

I went on my annual ladies beach trip last weekend! We had tons of fun.. Here are some pics... The first one is me and Lori.

This is one of me and Kim at Avila beach. We ate lunch and shopped a little.
This is a pic of the beach house and all of our air mattresses! We make a mess... but it is sooooooooooo much fun.
Here is a picture of all of us at McClintocks for dinner. They have the best food.
I am so blessed with a wonderful church and fabulous ladies! I am going on a cruise next month with 10 of them! That is going to be a fun week. No cooking or cleaning or phones or work... just food, massages, laying out by the pool, shows, shopping and relaxing! I can't wait! I had a good day off today. I had a very lazy morning and then went to Wal-Mart this afternoon to pick up a few things. Dinner is in the crock pot, so that is nice. I may go see a movie tonight. I am planning some new things for the ladies at church. It is very exciting. We are starting a Sole Sisters walking group in October. I am hoping to go to a corn maze too. Lots of good things going on. I love it!

It's been a while...

Ok... so it is harder to keep up with a blog than I thought it would be. Time goes bay way too fast! Since the last time I wrote, Bobby and I went to Las Vegas to celebrate our anniversary. We had a fabulous time! Can't wait to go again. My middle son has turned 16 and is ready to get his drivers license! I started a new softball co-ed league last night. I hit a triple! Yea for me! I was having a batting slump, so it felt really good to be able to hit again. I am still eating clean and loving it. I have lost 18 pounds and feel great. I am walkingon my treadmill for 20 minutes almost every day. I will start another co-ed team on Saturday nights next week. It feels good to be active and able to run the bases! =) We had Old Fashioned Day at church on Sunday. I wored overalls and my hair in pigtails. Kev and Matt went to Goodwill and got clothes to wear. It was so much fun dressing up. I will post a pic of them soon. Bobby had knee surgery last Thursday. He is still hurting really bad, but is able to finally walk (limp) without crutches. I'll be glad when he is completely healed and able to do more. He is going stir crazy at home! Well... that is about it for now. I will write more soon... I promise!
